Why doesn't change appear when changing scss file in Laravel?

Hello! Laravel now has a file variables.scss
But when changing the value of variables in this file, the appearance of the page still does not change! Tell me how to fix this and what am I doing wrong?

Alternatively, the old style simply hangs in the cache and is issued by the browser when it is updated. You can try a full page reload with a cache drop by Ctrl+F5.

This is just an elixir build example. You just need to run the gulp task for the assembly or start the watcher.
