Why doesn't Blender map itself to its own files?
Hello! Faced with the fact that after reinstalling the OS (Win 7 x64) and following the installation of Blender 2.79b (on another hard disk partition) - my Blender files remain unrecognized by the program. That is, if you run the file itself, then the OS offers to open it with some notepad. I pointed out the installed Blender file to the OS - but the OS does not list the program in any way, how to open this file! The only thing I have achieved is to bind the "Blender player" application. And when you run the file, it opens in the Blender player. But not in Blender itself.
The question is: so how do you get the OS or Blender to link to its own files?!!
PS At the moment, I have already demolished and reinstalled Blender twice, but it is still blind and does not take orphaned files under its protection. And you can open Blender files only from the menu of Blender itself. But it's so uncomfortable.
