Server for a whole 3D class?

Greetings!
Our team has an interesting task - to equip a computer class for children who will be engaged (trained) in 3D graphics in Blender and game development in Unity. We need 24 jobs, we expect about 12-14 game developers and up to 10 modellers working at the same time.
The problem, of course, is the cost of equipment, which easily exceeded one and a half million. There is an idea to make a server (graphics station) in which running games will be rendered and calculated + thin clients connected via gigabit - this should be much cheaper.
Dear, share your experience: does it work, is it difficult to implement and how much can it cost (what configuration is needed)? Just cool, cool is not necessary, after all, children are just learning. But I also want to avoid nervous breakdowns due to lags. :)
Z.Y. If you or your company has experience with such implementations and can help us with this task, then feel free to suggest something. :)

The performance issue is far-fetched, in this case. Training does not require powerful computers that perform real-time ray-tracing. Moreover, the limited resources will require a little more attention and planning from game developers, so as not to try to shove HiPoly models into games, for example.
Taking into account the pichalal ruble, for 20-40 thousand you can assemble computers with sufficient power for their needs. Those. instead of one and a half million, we are already talking about 500-600 thousand.
And you can always leave rendering for the night/weekend to make a beautiful video for a presentation or report, etc.

A server for rendering pictures and videos, that's good.
For thin clients, this approach will not work. There will be a lot of problems with image scrolling, especially hardware accelerated. Yes, and a server capable of serving 24 clients will come out just in those one and a half million.
It is better to take weaker jobs, with due care they will not slow down.

For comparison:
I now have this one: https://www.ulmart.ru/goods/905094 + SSD Intel 256Gb + RAM 4Gb and I work with Unity3D and Blender.
Comfort: 7/10 - sometimes there are lags in the blender, but quite rarely.
In general, it does not interfere with work and there are no engines (SSD and passive) => complete silence.
Total: ~15k per comp.
PS: If you take it in Yulmart - enter my PROMO code during registration - I will be very grateful to you (2nd price column - will be yours before purchase): 1236786
Thank you.
