Why doesn't a new project with React Hooks work on OS X?

Hey! Maybe a stupid question, but I didn't find a solution. I recently switched to mac and ran into a strange problem - React hooks in new projects do not work. useState, useEffect, useContext - not a function. It gets ridiculous - I transfer the project from Windows to Mac - everything works, I create exactly the same project with the same versions of libraries on Mac - not a function.
What am I doing wrong?
