Why does WiFi hang on the Apple iPad 2 when working through the WRT160NL router?

Hello. I need your help, or at least advice.
There is an Apple iPad 2, wifi + 3g. There is a WRT160NL router with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) installed.
When working on the network through this router, the connection periodically freezes. In general, it stops loading any pages / pinging the router, wifi itself showed the full signal as it does. You have to turn off wifi and turn it on again. What does this happen chaotically, and even if the device is physically located 2-3 meters from the router.
The most surprising thing is that other devices that are in the house, including those from Apple, do not have such a problem with this router. But even more amazing is that this iPad works just fine with other networks.
What could be the problem? I don't even know how to localize it. I tried all kinds of wifi settings, changed the encryption algorithm (now it costs WPA2-personal), channel settings, its width, etc. So far, nothing has helped.
Please advise where to look. Thanks in advance!

My iPad and iPad3 are cut off from the network all the time, I have to go into the settings and cut it, maybe it's the iPads (ASUS RT-G32 router) The rest of the devices work fine.

I have one-to-one such symptoms with the iPad 3. I haven't come up with a cure yet. Changing the router settings does nothing. Sometimes the speed is right, sometimes it shuts up tightly.

In addition to changing the encryption mode on the router, you can also try changing the width and number of the W-Fi channel. I myself danced with a tambourine around the iPad2 and a router based on the Atheros chipset with DD-WRT in the same way. At the moment, Channel Width = 10 Mhz and channel number 10 are working (it is mainly advised to put it in foreign forums and, by coincidence, it turned out to be the most unpopular with neighbors). The problem with dropping wi-fi on the iPad has disappeared, however, I can’t say that it was the channel parameters that influenced the result, because during the setup I changed a lot of things.
