Why does wi-fi not work in a laptop after cleaning?
Notebook acer aspire m3 581tg. I decided to clean it from dust (I have done this more than once, no problems arose). I carefully disassembled and reassembled, turn it on - everything is fine, but wi-fi does not work. The operating system is windows 8.1 pro n, the drivers are all installed, before that there were no problems.
Reboot does not solve anything, reinstalling drivers leads to a death screen with system_thread_expection_not_handled, system rollback ended with an error. Reinstalling the system with formatting the hard drive did not help - installing the driver still ends with a death screen.
At the same time, in both cases, there are no problems with the device (atheros 5b97) - in the device manager "the device is working normally", in the adapter management the wireless adapter is enabled, the troubleshooting every time suggests turning on wi-fi manually from the keyboard.
Actually, here - wi-fi does not turn on either from the keyboard or the switch in the system (it is not active at all). How can you fix it yourself?

Try to boot from some live-cd linux and see if wi-fi rises under it. if not, then it is clearly a hardware problem, if so, then you should contact microsoft technical support.
