Why does watching a video in telegram load the macbook pro 2014 i7 processor, but youtube HD does not?

When watching a video in telegram, the case starts to get very hot and the fans turn on, watching youtube in 4K through chrome or safari does not cause such hysteria in my macbook pro 15 2014. Is this a telegram feature or can I do something? Thank you.

Chrome uses a hardware decoder on the graphics card, cart does not.
