Why does the system lag after installing the video card driver?

Good afternoon. I changed my R5 2600 (working) processor to R5 5600x. Well, at the same time I decided to reinstall Windows, the system was dumb at times, I wanted a clean system. So, I reinstalled Windows 11, everything is fine. But after installing the video card driver (GTX 1660 Super), the system starts to lag. Namely, this is noticeable when the cursor moves, the cursor freezes every second, as if it is moving in jerks. The video also freezes every second. If you remove the driver, it stops lagging. I tried the latest and previous driver that was on the old system, there is no result. On the old, also in the 11th Windows, this driver worked fine. I installed the drivers for the chipset from the off site of the motherboard. There is no overheating, the processor is 45-50, the video card is 40 degrees. I look in the load manager, it does not load anything. Has anyone experienced this?

UPD: did a rollback, he generally rolled back to the 2020 driver version 457.51, the problem is gone. Interestingly, the penultimate driver that was released for DL2 worked properly on the old 11th system. And after replacing the processor, it became buggy, even on a clean system. I'll try the penultimate version, then unsubscribe

I found the solution in the open spaces of reddit, as always the solution is on foreign sites) it's a bad cable of the SECOND monitor. Yes, yes, yes, it was the cable of the second monitor that affected the lags of the system. I changed it, and on the new drivers the flight is normal)

So 11th is still raw. It may well be a glitch of Windows itself
, especially if everything is ok on win10

Try the WHQL driver after stripping through the Display Driver Uninstaller
and check the rest of the hardware for failures
