Why does the subnet stop seeing when the proxy is enabled?

Hello, our network is controlled by ICS (Internet control server) and is divided into several subnets such as 192.168.20.1 192.168.10.1 192.168.1.1 10.10.1.1
the authorities said that we will connect a new provider, for it to work on computers, you need to specify a proxy, install the certificate. I did all this, the Internet appeared, but the computer stops pinging other subnets, introduced exceptions to the proxy server, but the result is zero, please help!

You don't have to listen to every boss jerk. His job is to set a task and shut up. But how to solve it and what to do for this decision - you have to decide. By connecting the head to the process.
The only place where you need to specify the settings for the new access scheme is the server that routes clients to the Internet, i.e. the one on which the ICS task is performed.
And all workstations still go to the Internet through it - but through a new channel. On them, no settings should be changed at all.
Why does the subnet stop seeing when the proxy is enabled?

Because all routes are fucked up. The client tries to look up other subnets through the new channel. And also your happiness that the new provider did not cut you off for a gray flood.

Well, firstly, I sympathize with you .... And taking into account the proxy 2 times or more, because the scribe is now any person data from the browser))
On the topic - that is, right now, a PC from the 10.10. And after inclusion of a proxy - ceases?
How is the proxy enabled? for the whole system? but why, you can just turn it on for the browser ... well, and where you need applications ...

That's right, subnets with the proxy turned off see each other.
the proxy is enabled for the entire system, but how, for example, to register a proxy for chrome, because it accesses the system proxy or the zoom program
