Why does the sound stutter on win 10?
Good evening.
Recently, the sound on my computer began to stutter, and it doesn’t matter if it goes to the monitor (via DP), to speakers or headphones, everywhere the same thing: jerks and stutters. This was not the case before. Everything else works as usual. Sometimes the computer doesn't turn on right away.
It seems to me that the problem is in a low-quality power supply or in the motherboard, since the power supply is such itself, and the motherboard survived the flight.
What is more likely?
ps win10 x64, i7-3770, 12gb, z77 pro4, ssd, gigabyte gtx 970 g1 gm, bp 550w CoolerM.

If I were you, I would try another OS (you can boot from a Live flash drive) to rule out problems with driver compatibility and Windows 10. Does your sound come from the motherboard or from the video card? Try from there and from there.
In order to exclude subsidence in terms of PSU power (550 W is still not enough), try to temporarily remove the video card and check how everything will work without it. Well, a different power supply (known to be good, ask your friends) would not hurt to try.
If all this does not help - then the motherboard.
