Why does the "slider" of the microphone volume "twist" itself in Linux?

OpenSUSE 42.3, KDE, PulseAudio.
In some programs for communication (not only in Skype), and even in web resources, I see a picture that the microphone volume automatically jumps. Then I reset it again to the amount of percent I need, but it rises again after a couple of minutes of conversation .. How to fix it?
