Why does the save dialog pop up when I save a text document?

Hello. Why is it that when I save a text document in notepad, a save dialog box pops up with a file name and so on. And in the video it just saves and closes the document? How can I make it so that I also just save the file with changes?

Check the file attributes (in properties) - most likely it is "Read only".
Or it is open in some other program (the same Opera), because of which the notepad cannot write to it. In this case, close your browser (or other programs) before editing.
In addition, the snag may be in the user's permissions to write the file or to the folder where the file is stored. Here you need to look more specifically. A quick option to check is to run notepad as an administrator.
