Why doesn't the non-breaking space in Birman's layout work?
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, system language is English, locales are Russian, language for non-Unicode programs is Russian. As input languages, the Birman layout is set to English and Russian, the latest versions. They work fine, but after some point, the non-breaking space (Alt Gr + space or Ctrl + Alt + space) is no longer entered.
It is not entered in either the English or Russian layout in any application. Disabling Punto Switcher does not help.
Also: in Explorer, when renaming files, when pressing Ctrl + Backspace, instead of deleting the word, the whole character prints:

Try an alternate layout. For example, scrype, or our universal . There are all Burmese characters, as well as many others, open source and detailed instructions)
If everything is fine with the layouts (you can check in MSKLC) - perhaps some program uses a keyboard shortcut like Ctrl + Shift + space. Odd choice, but try closing other programs.
