Why does the router cut Wi-fi like that?

I bought a tp-link archer c20i router, it supports 2.4 and 5ghz. The reception speed via wi-fi on the phone (htc one m7) shows 15 receiving and 50 sending, and at 5ghz 15 receiving and 95 sending. If you download from a torrent, then 35-50 gives out both 2.4 and 5., But no more. What's the catch? I have already read a bunch of forums. It seems that the router is not cheap. Manually set channels and nefiga.
