Why does the product type change in Bitrix when saving?

There is a product in the admin panel with the type "Product with offers". If you click "Save", the type changes to "Simple product".

And I noticed that this happens if before saving the last tab was "Trade catalog".



If you click before saving and in the "Product parameters" select "Product with trade offers", and then save, then the product type does NOT change.



I would like to understand, is this the normal behavior of Bitrix, or some kind of anomaly exclusively with me? Because there is a suspicion that this began to happen recently after someone's body movements. Where to pick to understand this behavior?

No, not normal. Did you add an event handler before or after saving?
