Why does the printer display a paper jam?
They called me to the printer - wrote a paper jam (only this diode is on). Took it apart and couldn't find any paper. I restarted the printer and noticed that it does not warm up, that is, there are no sounds at all except for the initial attempt to scroll. I don't know what the problem is, maybe you can help. Printer Kyocera Ecosys P2235dn.

When passing inside the printer, the paper raises flags (small plastic plates) in several places, which trigger the optical sensors. This is done to track the movement of the paper. In your case, the paper went through, but one or more of the flags didn't go down (damaged or caught on something), and because of this, the printer thinks there is still paper in it. Either one of these sensors is dirty / out of order, which again leads to the same reaction of the printer.
