Why does the night light work during the day?

Enabled

Well, first of all, it’s cool: the first feeling was that a video card had come up, some unusual reddish tint, though I got used to it very quickly and it feels like it’s easier to look at the screen than when it’s white light.
Now we have 14:00, I somehow thought that the mode would turn off, but when you turn it off manually, it’s noticeable how the screen becomes whiter, although it doesn’t give off as much red as at night, that is, the mode is turned on DAY, as I understand it , only less efficient or something.
Is that how it should be? During the day, HANDS need to be turned off?

if paranoia (or tweaks from paranoids) does not allow geolocation to be turned on, then it remains to sleep on the ceiling to steer with your hands or set a fixed clock
