Why does the monitor turn off when the microphone is connected?

There are such cases that when the microphone is connected to the PC, the monitor turns off (the button just starts flashing), while the computer itself works and even the video that was turned on is played. You have to restart your computer for the monitor to turn on. I reconnect the microphone after the reboot and everything is OK.
