Why does the MacBook Air automatically increase the number of recharge cycles?

In my case, self-discharge occurs EVERY DAY, that is, 10-15% of the charge is artificially eaten from the battery per day. Every three to four days, the number of recharge cycles increases by one. Is this normal at all?
