Why does the left mouse click not work?

I have two computers, a laptop and a hospital, two wireless mice. The left mouse click may not work 20 times in a row on both. Problem on any OS. Even in uefi bios. On other computers, these mice work fine. Both computers are asus, p8p67 deluxe LG's 1155 stationary and ASUS k53sc laptop. It is confusing that the left click does not work in Bios in the same way when loading live sit. What are the options? Google is silent.
Update. I found out that the left click only works with a long press, i.e. holding the button
