Why does the interface in applications fly when installing any custom themes?

Hello!
I have problems with the application interface when installing custom themes on Gnome. Themes are taken from gnome-look.org. I select only those themes that are suitable for my version of Ubuntu and Gnome, and this problem happens with absolutely all the themes that I installed, i.e. most likely the problem is not in the elaboration of custom themes, but somewhere on my side.
Examples of what I'm talking about. Examples on the Ceti theme, but as I said above, the problems are the same on all themes.
Standard programs look fine, there are no glitches: Files , Terminal .
But there are problems in other programs. For example in Sublime Text and LibreOfficesomehow the top navigation bar is displayed strangely.
And the interface of FileZilla or the Dropbox installer looks like on Windows 98.
In comparison, everything looks fine on the standard theme. For example, FileZilla on a standard GTK theme .
What can be wrong?
How to fix it?
I've been on Linux for a week.
Installed in ~/.local/share/themes
Ubuntu 12.04
Gnome 3.10

For those who have the same problem, do not repeat my mistake. I figured it out myself.
Themes should not be installed in ~/.local/share/themes , but in /usr/share/themes . Since this folder does not have write permissions by default, you need to open it through the terminal with a special command with write permissions: sudo nautilus /usr/share/themes
Then, you need to drop the theme folder into it, and then go to the folder properties and set read access rights for all users.

Applications use different engines of different versions. GTK3, GTK2, QT, etc., and you put a theme for one thing. Look for quality themes that are designed with this in mind.
