Why does the gaming laptop not load any of the OS, the image disappears during loading?
What we have is an HP OMEN 15 laptop with a Core i7 processor and an Nvidia video chip.
The problem is that it does not go beyond the logo and the "ring" of the system boot (OS Windows 10). I mean a moving circle of dots. Until the OS starts loading, the image is there, the system is being checked. disks, RAM, components pass the built-in check from HP.
BUT! As soon as the OS starts loading, the image disappears from the screen (the backlight remains), the disk LED turns on permanently (during loading it flickers, after that it just lights up like a light bulb), coolers begin to make noise. The keyboard backlight remains on, but that's it - no signs of life, sounds from the speakers, etc. no.
I changed disks, connected flash drives with the Windows installer, connected an external CD with a disk, connected flash drives with live OS images. Everything is exactly the same - the logo, the OS starts loading (including PE images), the black screen, the disk LED is on, the coolers are noisy.
The problem is not software, if it is, then the Windows recovery image or any of the PE images of the systems would give a welcome screen. But as soon as it should appear, the problem described above comes out.
What is done. I flashed the BIOS, including a new one, reset the power settings according to HP's instructions, removed the BIOS battery and shorted the + - contacts on the board after removing the battery. I tried to connect disks, SSDs, flash drives, etc. The result is the same.
Suspicion of iron problems - but what? Perhaps someone has come across a similar one, albeit with laptops from other manufacturers.
