Why does the gamepad freeze?

I use a wired gamepad from Xbox (maybe a replica) on windows 8.1
Problem: with strong vibration, it freezes, and only reconnecting helps. It used to work fine on a laptop, but now it's a problem on a PC. Plugged into both front and rear connectors.
If the problem is not solved, then at least how to turn off the vibration?

Disassemble and tear?

Since it freezes only with STRONG vibration, then the problem in the gamepad is mechanical. The solution is simple: disassemble, clean, assemble, check! If it does not help, then the vibro can be easily disconnected. Look at the disassembly on youtube, for wireless and wired the same. Re-assembly / disassembly will take no more than 10 minutes.
PS
As a load for thought - on all sorts of online stores like aliexpress or dx.com they constantly sell various replaceable components for xbox gamepads, and if something is messed up, you can always buy a change. For example, gnawed joysticks after children. :)

I have this problem on Speedlink XEOX (wired). When connected to some ports (most often USB 3.0), the vibration sometimes sticks (continues to vibrate), until the next vibration effect. Didn't solve the problem. But when connected to one (out of 4) port of your laptop, there is no problem.
