Why does the controller not fit the screen?
Good afternoon,
I had an old laptop Asus eee-pc 1201n. It is morally obsolete, but in general was in working order. I removed the monitor from it and wanted to use it with my raspberry pi.
He untwisted the plastic case and saw the marking of the matrix HSD121PHW1 A01
Climbed on aliexpress, found the controller for this keyword and bought it. The only thing is that I asked a question earlier about A01 and A03, they said that this is just a revision number, like A03 was released later, but should be comparable, that is, there is no difference.
I took this HSD121PHW1-A03 here
. The
miracle did not happen, the monitor does not turn on.
The cable is single-lane, 30 pins, but if you look closely, the native cable has other pins that do not match the cable from the controller (native on top):
Who understands, explain what's the matter? In revision A01/A03?
There is also a certain comb with a jumper (pictured below), a jumper on the third pins on the right. In general, it came already assembled, that is, I couldn’t screw up anything here. Maybe this is the case and you just need to tweak something? (at the same time, there are slightly different pictures in the alish and there is no such comb with jumpers in principle, but the letters on the back side of the board match, apparently, a newer implementation, and the pictures have not been updated)
