Why does Skype show an incorrect status when logging off the network?
Such a question: I noticed long ago that when I leave the network in my main Skype, the status is not "offline" but "offline"?
Moreover, half of the contact list is exactly the same (on this screen everything is fine only for the last contact):
I decided to check on a fresh account - everything is fine on it (I looked at my accounts from a neighboring computer from a different account). There is a suspicion that the trouble with statuses begins after you log into a fresh account at least once from Android or iOs. Haven't logged into a new account yet - the status is always displayed correctly. From the first, of course, I went under Android many times.

When you log in with a client that supports push notifications (that is, a mobile client), and then simply log out without logging out, Skype tries to deliver messages to you via push notifications, which, of course, does not always work.
To prevent this from happening, you should always log out on mobile clients, and not just exit the application.
To check how many sessions (endpoints) you currently have, in the chat window with any of your contacts (this contact will not see or receive anything), enter:
To close all open endpoints except for the session where you enter this, enter in the same place:/remotelogout
