Recently there was a problem, when working in Photoshop and choosing a font, it starts to slow down terribly. In fact, when you click on the menu with fonts, it starts to hang. When choosing a font and when hovering over it, there is no animation, etc. In addition to the standard set, I installed a maximum of 10 new fonts. What could it be?

Try in the settings to disable the display of font names with these very fonts. If the brakes disappear, then some "cloudy" font is installed.
