Why does Open Server need network access?
Good evening guys! I have an educational question for you! Please explain to me why Open Server needs access to the network! And why does a site that uses gulp in the project build (browserSync) in turn not work if OpenServer is not activated. How does it all work?

For access from the network:
1) To open the port to the outside
2) In the OS settings, HTTP must have the same port
3) Create an alias: ip - domain
By default, port 80
Well, the open server probably needs access to the network to collect telemetry and check for updates (they have a counter on the site "webmasters on the N network"). I did not use this section, but I will assume that the open server process is responsible for starting, restarting, and stopping all the components that it has nginx, php, and so on.
