Why does onboard audio turn to Dummy output after installing nvidia driver?
Guys, hello! Today I tried Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Mint, MX Linux. Everywhere is the same - after installing the proprietary NVIDIA video driver (without it, HDMI does not see the monitor), HDA NVidia Digital Stereo becomes the only output device. If you disable HDMI in the configuration, the output device becomes Dummy output, while there is no sound from the laptop speakers and headphones. Prior to installing the NVIDEA drivers, the "internal audio device" worked fine (on multiple distributions). Tell me, please, where to dig, what to do to make the laptop speakers, headphones and microphone work (alsa does not see them).
