Why does MySQL crash on Debian?

Nothing is clear, the logs are empty, and MySQL crashes. There is a game server that has continuous interaction with the muscle, while the muscle itself began to fall periodically, and I can’t understand where to dig at all, any change in phpmyadmin gives exactly the same effect.

Ultimately, upgrading from 5.1 to 5.5 helped. Thank you all for your help.

dmesg | grep -i oom
says nothing?

See /var/log/mysql/error.log

@sets88

stop mysqld, start mysqld_safe and try to put the server down as before, you will probably see an error on the standard output, in the console

@syncer

mine in debian muscle writes to /var/log/daemon.log
look for memories of errors there
