Why does my PC turn off when I plug in my USB headphones?

I bought headphones, at first everything was fine, but after six months there was a problem when connecting headphones to the USB port - the PC turns off and the monitor goes out. This happens when you go to any site or start the game.
PS If the headphones are not connected, then everything is fine.

It is possible that a 5 volt short circuit to ground occurs in the USB plug of the headphones and the protection of the power supply is triggered.
