Why does my macbook pro overheat after changing thermal paste and dusting?
Good afternoon!
Yesterday I completely cleaned it of dust and changed the thermal paste for macbook pro 2011. I apply thermal paste not for the first time, and I always apply it with the thinnest layer, that it is even transparent, not thicker than a sheet of paper.
After the laptop was assembled, I immediately noticed that the fan was very noisy, and the underside was heating up. Put the program to monitor the temperature. In idle time, it’s about 56-60, when viewing one video in one tab on youtube - more than 80. At the same time, before replacing the thermal paste, everything was fine. But it dried up inside, and fell off in pieces, like old cement. Thermal paste smeared ZALMAN ZM-STG2.
What could it be, and how to deal with it? Perhaps I warped the radiator pad, but now I opened the cover, and all three bolts (they can be seen on the reverse side) are screwed in evenly.
