Why does my MacBook make a grinding sound when turned on?

Good morning everyone. Please tell me why when you turn on the macbook (macbook pro retina latest model with ssd) or exit the macbook from sleep mode, there is a slight rattle or creak for literally a second, the sound is very similar to the sound of a hard drive, but I have an ssd, if I'm not mistaken, the rattle goes on the right side of the macbook. Macbook is only 2 months old, I think it's worth contacting the service.

I have the same thing, I always thought it was a CD drive.

It's most likely the drive. Do not be afraid.

I have exactly the same sound on my MacBook Air Mid 13 and I also thought it sounded very similar to the sound of a hard drive. But, as you know, there is neither it nor the CD-drive. I tend to answer Losted , that this is how the cooler spins up.
