Why does my laptop screen turn off?
There is a laptop with a touch screen asus x200ma, it has Windows 7, all the drivers from the website.
Problem: sometimes the screen turns off (as if the screen off after a certain time is enabled), but the screen off / sleep, etc. is disabled, sometimes it can go out in the middle of work. If you wait a bit / pull the mouse, it turns on.
What could be? Where to dig?

Try digging into power saving profiles. Most likely it switches between modes depending on the power source, and in one of the modes the screen turns off according to the settings. If battery life is not relevant to you, you can force the maximum performance mode - the screen should not turn off in it.
