You probably have an intel laptop.
As a solution, try reinstalling the video driver manually. Next, look at the driver and power settings.
p/s Is there something that bothers you? As far as I know, these are laptops for work (I myself am currently sitting on ryzer with honor magicbook 14). Somehow I did not notice such a problem.

I’m not sure that I can help you, but I also have an Intel laptop and I also had the problem that with a powerful video card, a powerful processor and a large amount of RAM, even not in demanding games, I had a maximum of 20-30 fps, I understood that this is a problem and needs to be addressed. In general, I reinstalled Windows. Did not help.
So here's an option for you, step by step instructions:
1. Go to your desktop.
2.Right click on an empty space on the desktop
3.Next, click on the NVIDIA control panel, and go to it.
4.Next, go to the "Manage 3D Settings" tab
5. If you have your processor selected in the "Preferred graphics processor" column, then this was the problem, and in order to solve it, you need to select Auto-select or your video card in this column.
Otherwise, if this is not the problem, I recommend installing the latest drivers for your video card: 1.
Go to the site: https://www.nvidia.ru/Download/index.aspx?lang=ru
drivers for it
3. You will have Geforce Experience installed, which will periodically download newer drivers for you.
4.Restart your computer.
It looks like the problem should be fixed.
There may also be problems due to dust contamination of the computer from the inside.
Well, or for example, you have problems with the power supply or battery, so there are problems with FPS.
Of course, it all depends on what games you play, because your laptop is designed to work, and if you have 30 fps in some kind of battlefront 2, then this is natural, but if cs or other not very demanding games, then of course this is a problem.
