Tell me please. There is an ADSL router HG532e. If I make an RJ-11>>RJ-45() cable and plug it into the WAN-ADSL port. Is it possible to have a local network or not? Is it really possible to do this?
You can not ask about alternative firmware for this router at all. Well, if I looked bad, can you tell me.

No, it won’t work, but I’m purely interested in how you would connect 4-pin RJ-11 and 8-pin RJ-45, given that half of the contacts are used there and there (I don’t count gigabit).
