Why does CorelDRAW x5 slow down?

Good afternoon.
Faced a problem - X5 hangs heavily when colling objects in the workspace. That is, you zoom in or zoom out of the object and X5 freezes for up to 1 minute and, well, it just draws elements VERY slowly.
Transferred the edited file to the SSD drive, disabled the paging file in the OS, changed the CorelDRAW settings (in particular, Workspace - Monitor). Computer configuration: Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1 all updates, 8 Gb RAM, Intel Core i5-3330 processor, SSD CSSD-F128GBGS-BK.
It may be that for correct operation you need to remove (or, on the contrary, install) Windows updates or some additional software? Because on a similar computer, CorelDRAW works great.
PS If you need a more detailed computer configuration - just tell me :)
PSS Corel technical support could not help with the words "support for this product has been discontinued"

@eapeap

There was something similar with X6 - the reason was the porridge of VisualStudio and VisualS versions, as they said on the forum. There was a sea of different versions from updates and from different software.
Uninstalling/reinstalling Visuals didn't help.
Reinstalling Windows removed all problems.

Perhaps a very large file?

Maybe this version uses hardware graphics acceleration for rendering, or software rendering if hardware acceleration isn't available.
Might be worth checking your video drivers at the same time.
