What are official Windows 10 keys for?

As I understand it, Microsoft has provided several official activation
keys for Windows 10, here are some of them:
Windows 10 Pro build 10240 - VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
Now I successfully upgraded my Win 10 Home build 10586.3 to the Pro version with a key. Knowledgeable people, tell me, why are these keys needed and why were they freely posted on the network? It turns out that anyone can take and activate Windows for free. Are there any pitfalls, maybe the system will then again require a key, but already unique? Not just because the Pro version costs 13,900 rubles. on the Microsoft website.

These are installation keys, not activation keys.
