Why does C drive fill up on its own?

The local disk C is filling up and at the same time I do not write anything there. Updates are disabled, temporary files take up little space, but I did not change the swap file. What could be the reason and how to clean the disk?

Because the operating system needs to record something in the behavior of the system, programs, security, and so on. Commonly referred to as an event log.

Using Far, you can easily calculate the size of a folder by f3.
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp look and clean (there are temporary files of any running programs)
and the downloads folder in the user profile (there downloaded from the Internet).
