Why do some wifi packets take up to 2.5 seconds?

Recently, the connection in games began to disappear more often. I decided to check with the ping -t 8.8.8.8 command . I checked it on a computer that is connected by wire to a router and on a laptop where the connection is respectively via wifi. On a PC, everything is normal, the average response time is 32ms, at least 30ms, a maximum of 38, but something strange is happening on a laptop. Basically, packets arrived as on a computer at 32ms, but somewhere every 20th packet and the following 3 pieces come with a strong delay (Up to 2810ms). Packet loss on computer 0 on laptop insignificant 24 (out of 5000 sent). With what it can be connected? What can be done?
P.S. The problem is definitely on the receiving side, since the rest of the devices work without interruptions.

Most often it is either
1. The router is weak, sometimes it can not cope with the load and "thinks".
You can read more about the characteristics of the router, or look at the load graph on it.
2. The air is clogged with neighbors.
You can look at the programs wifi analyzer, wifi scanner, etc.
Before that, it is advisable to read at least a little what a channel is and how to switch correctly.

There are some other reasons for late packets, but a large number of other Wi-Fi is the main one. And so the interference...
