Something is wrong with the source of the pictures, because on my poppy it also opens crookedly in Photoshop, but the built-in preview and browsers open it normally.
Where are these photos from? Did they work fine before?

Faced with this. Such files are saved with errors. Some programs (Preview.app) normally eat such errors, and some (Photoshop) stumble. The easiest way is to export from any program that normally displays (the same Preview.app) to another format, for example, to pdf (then it will “correctly” save it) and then open it in PS.
