Why do mov videos saved from the site twitch?

I often sit on the phone on Reddit, watching all sorts of cool scenes made in Blender. I save my favorites to my phone (iPhone). On the phone, absolutely all saved videos are played twitchy. I did not pay much attention to this, writing off some incompatibility in the format (downloaded in .mov). When viewing directly from a browser or the Reddit app, there is no such issue. Today I transfer these videos to the computer .... and on the computer, most of the videos are also played with a hard freeze. Moreover, regardless of the file size, but in some random order.
Tell me how can I fix this? The downloaded videos are really cool, I would like to archive them, but I would not want to lose them. Downloading in some other way is not an option, because stupidly I did not add posts to my favorites. And some videos were downloaded a year and a half ago, and you are unlikely to find them again among a bunch of posts (I tried)
