Why do I need to restart the PC when connecting headphones to make them work?

Hello. I reinstalled Windows, now when switching from speakers to headphones, you need to restart the PC for them to work (and vice versa). With a microphone, the same story, if you insert it into the socket, then you need to restart the PC for it to work. I removed the realtek driver and reinstalled it through the task manager, what could be the problem and how to solve it?

Go to Google: Model of your motherboard audio driver.
Go to off. site and download only from the off site.
Through the task manager, Windows finds standard drivers from its database. As a rule, although they work, they do not give those buns that they give off drivers. when put dig into the settings of the program itself 99% you will find your answers there

If you connect to the front panel, then it may be the following - configure the BIOS so that the AC'97 codec works, or check the box in the driver application settings - disable detection of front panel jacks.

The problem is in the realtek driver, you can try a customized driver for realtek, I somehow stumbled upon such drivers not so long ago, since I myself had such a problem and the settings did not help. Search online for "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Unofficial"
