Why do I get high exposure when rendering in 3ds Max?

Hey Habr.
The other day, my father decided to give me a job on the principle of "learn a new and potentially profitable business" - he had to render several pictures (neither he nor I had ever done 3D modeling). Having learned the basics, I started rendering - after all, the whole scene is initially set up, and therefore the render should turn out as it should.
The essence of the problem
When rendering, the picture turns out to be very overexposed, changing the gamma does not help, changing the VRay light does not help, the modeler used a regular camera, not from VRay.
Changing gamma or light only results in a less bright image, but extremely high exposure remains.
