Why do Chrome tabs split into a new window when clicked?

Quite often, when you click on a chrome tab, it falls off into a separate window and flies to the 2nd screen (I use 2 monitors).

Previously, there was no such problem, I don’t seem to see tremors in my hands either, in order to “pull off” the tabs. I can’t reproduce it on purpose, even noticeably “pulling” the mouse, for example.

Possible places to look for that have changed recently:

  • updated to Windows 11
  • updated Chrome
  • replaced the mouse with a Logitech MX Master 3 (which has all sorts of gestures)

But in the settings I did not find anything like that.
There is no "rollback" option.

The problem is observed only with tabs in chrome (and even then not always, but often to annoy), there are no problems in other applications (I haven’t tried it in other browsers)

Maybe someone came across, knows where to dig, where to look for the cause?

@hint000

This is from the mouse and/or mouse settings. Try lowering the mouse resolution, or experimenting with the click setting (if there are advanced settings in the driver).
