Why DIR-300 does not broadcast Wi-Fi?
D-Link DIR-300 rev. B1, when Wi-Fi is enabled in the native firmware 2.05 settings, it successfully activates the option, but the corresponding indicator on the device does not light up and the network does not broadcast. The same with the latest firmware 2.06 and even with DD-WRT. From the interesting - when saving the Wi-Fi settings on native firmware, there is no transition to the next page - it hangs on the page “Wait, the settings are being saved. You will be redirected soon, etc.” And on DD-WRT, despite the included Wi-Fi in the status, it writes “Radio is Off”, and also displays zeros instead of the poppy address of the card.
What could be the reason for this behavior?
Thank you in advance.

I had this situation twice with DIR 300. Out of about seven installations, the
first time they changed it to the same one - it worked. The second time they put the 320th

Country exposed? Until you set the country, the radio will not turn on. Regulatory requirements.
Zeros instead of the radio card address may mean that the card fell out of the slot (usually there is a mini-PCIE or an equivalent there). It often happens that at the factory the card is not fully snapped in, and not all contacts are closed. This happens even on high-end hardware.
