Why did the USB ports on the laptop turn off and how to solve this problem?
I welcome everyone.
Last night I sat working at my laptop, everything worked fine. I wake up in the morning, turn on my laptop and find that not one USB port is working. I connected a mouse + an external hard drive, poked into all 3 ports, none of them work. Looked in BIOS ports are not found at the connected devices.
I read all the tips and articles:
1. I cleaned Cureit and AVZ viruses (you never know, they did something with the driver for the controllers)
2. Turned the USB controllers on and off in the device manager
3. Turned off the power and pressed the power button for 10 seconds (sometimes helps, in case of problems with static)
All controllers in the dispatcher are displayed, work without conflicts. The ports just don't respond.
They say the matter is in the south bridge, but on a laptop, if the south bridge had burned out, something else would not work, the touchpad or the webcam, they work properly. I handle the laptop carefully, there are no overheatings on it, I have never fallen, I have not spilled anything on it. He just stands on the table, and I just work behind him.
