Why did the transfer speed of the external hard drive drop?

Hello! I would like to know roughly what happened, but in general. I have a really joooss external drive, it has a lot of working information. And recently, having reinstalled Windows, I noticed that now the speed of transferring files from a computer to a josky and vice versa has become what a little kapets. I did a defragmentation, the speed increased a little, but still, it was somehow too small. Tried inserting into usb 3.0, nothing really changes. Shaw to do? :with6086b2fced61a535084517.jpeg

Shaw to do?
Take a screwdriver, pull the hard drive out of the box. Connect via SATA, make sure that the speed has increased by 10..20 times. Put it back in the box.
Install Windows drivers on USB.

The speed of 10m/s complies with the USB1 standard.
