Why did the quality of the questions and answers decrease so much after the project was renamed?

Every day more and more idiotic questions from recently registered users appear on the resource. Why such an influx of new users? What is the reason for the general deterioration in the quality of questions and answers?
The like system just doesn't work right now, the lack of the ability to downvote questions and answers creates chaos.

It's a shame it turns out like this. I'm on read-only. I've been reading for two years now. To get an invite experience is not enough, and everything that I could write has already been rewritten fifty times. But at the same time, sometimes there are moments when you would like to ask for clarification where it is not entirely clear, ask a question, when you spend more than an hour looking for a solution, and even going into the "questions and answers" it's a little insulting to realize that you can sometimes answer, but you sit like Gerasim, and he can write with a question. I hope that the trolls and freshmen will drop out.

I have a serious suspicion that everything is going according to plan - expanding the audience, classifying and dividing it into projects, after which it will be possible to make targeted advertising.
Apparently, it will be quite possible to advertise a Yandex browser with a built-in mailru search on a toaster. And maybe even Internet accelerators.

I completely agree, sometimes it just explodes from the stupidity of questions, just one question :D How did they find out about the toaster? :D

Now those who are on read-only can ask questions here.
You can check on questionable questions

More and more idiotic questions appear on the resource every day

And this one is just one of them.

@Reexel

It has become too popularized, wide advertising has brought people who are not so interested in the question as they are self-actualized by it.

On stackoverflow, you can close questions for non-constructiveness or holivory.
You can do something similar. So that every (maybe just not read-only) account can vote to close the issue. As soon as a few votes are typed, the question is closed and removed somewhere far away. It should help with time.

Many have not heard about the project at all before, but after a post on Habré about its reincarnation, popularity has increased rapidly. Now, for many queries in Google, the first answers are from the toaster, which I have not seen before ...

Yes, everything is simple - RSS (traditionally for TM) does not work well, mail from the project does not come at all -)
But there are no less questions. Here are the answers and discussions - less, yes.
