Why did the Nexus 7 stop showing signs of life after replacing the screen?

The situation - some time ago I broke the screen at my nexus, I ordered a combo (screen and degitizer) on ebay. I got a screen, found a video on replacement, replaced it - the screen starts to barely blink when charging. After a little digging (disconnecting / connecting connectors), the screen generally stopped showing signs of life. It was thought that the train was damaged, but its inspection did not reveal any artifacts.
Here is the problem, maybe someone will tell you what could be its cause. And one more thing, the device itself works.

Maybe something with the plug? Has he been checked? Is the old display dead at all?

In my experience, displays are not just very, but VERY afraid of static electricity.
