Why did the icons on the buttons disappear in the DokuWiki article editor?

During server operation with DokuWiki, the icons from the article editing panel disappeared.
Initially I installed dokuwiki in /var/www/html/dokuwiki/
Apache settings had root directory /var/www/html/
Then I changed to /var/www/html/dokuwiki/ to get rid of /dokuwiki/ in URL after that , the icons are gone. As soon as I returned everything back, they immediately returned.
Why did it happen?
